Nate is the only person I know that is sending text messages every chance he gets. Here he is texting either my Mom or Vicky, or may be even both. Bonneville Salt Flats Road Trip 09
After realizing we needed more wood for the roll in, we had to find a hammer (2x4) and nails. Jose puts the hammer down, while filmer/photographer KYLE CAMARILLO over sees
Headed up to Skate Camp last weekend with Tim Tim, Nick Garcia, Julian Davison, and Levi Brown. They just built a new Mini Ramp that is seriously the best mini ramp I've ever skated.
In order to get to the Natural Rock Slides you have to take a hop, skip and a jump down the gorge. Nick has it down, cigarette in one hand, Banquets in the other.
Nick and Julian are cousins, and rip harder and better than you on a skateboard. This was Julians first time to Stoney Creek, and I'm sure it won't be his last.
Stoney Creek is full of natural rock slides, and small pools. Normally we would be sliding down this natural rock slide, but since the Sun had gone down, all we could do is stare at it. Next time we'll get there earlier.
Skate Camp is about 30 minutes south of the Sequoia National Forest. So of course we had to make a quick stop to check out these big ass trees.' At one point this tree was used as a Saloon, Kitchen, and Sleeping quarters for loggers. The whole that Chad is looking out of was used as a vent for the kitchen.
Its really hard to appreciate the size of these giant ass trees. This is the 3rd largest tree Height (feet) 268.1 Circumference (feet) 107.5 Volume (cubic feet) 46,608
Today is Nick Garcia's 20th birthday. I would like to say this is a photo of Chad giving Nick a Travel Well Cruiser board but it isn't, and he didn't. Happy 20th buddy.
I saw this poster at the rock spot, and it reminded me of the time my Mom ask me if I wanted my Senior Yearbook, and my response to her was "Hell nah Ma, I don't care about those hicks, buy me a skateboard instead." Pretty ironic that this is a poster for yearbooks with skateboarders on it, I wonder if they really want a year book.
Everyone put something down on the ole rock spot. Funny thing is when we first got there I thought to myself no one would even want to skate it. The crew checking out Tim Tim sequence .
We hit a few bad storms on this trip. This one in particular stood out because of the lightning, rain, and tremendous wind. As soon as I saw this cloud I new it was time to pull over and put the rain gear on. Road Trip 09
As soon as I saw this guy a passed him to get in front of him so a could get off my bike and shoot a photo of him. Not sure where he was going but, he's probably still on the road.
